There are many insomnia home remedies, many of which are not proven methods but might still work for quite a few people.
However, some home remedies for insomnia can include;
- Diagnosing and treating other medical problems that may be affecting the body and causing insomnia.
- Find out what you may be doing that may worsen your insomnia, and stopping it. Like drinking a lot of coffee.
- If your doctor suggests, you can use sleeping pills. Make sure to keep in touch with your doctor along the way.
- You can try behavioral techniques to improve the insomnia, like relaxation therapy, sleep restriction therapy, reconditioning, and using a bright light.
